Job Title: Business Development Specialist – Investments
About the Role:
Mercer Global Investments Europe Limited, German branch is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt am Main or Munich. As a key member of our Sales Support Team, you will be responsible for working with our team to achieve extraordinary results in the Alternatives side of Investments with a focus on Private Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality proposals and due diligence questionnaires
- Preparing materials in support of client and prospective client meetings
- Assembling marketing materials by compiling, consolidating, formatting and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations
- Coordinating with internal teams to execute quarterly updates across a broad array of data that is used to populate presentations, proposals, RFPs, and internal reporting
- Maintenance of Business Development content on common drive structure
- Conducting research relating to global prospects and potential timelines for engagement
- Updating job knowledge by participating in Business Development meetings and other educational opportunities as determined by department leadership
Requirements:
- A relevant university degree (i.e Business Administration, Economics, Finance and Mathematics)
- Between 2-6 years of experience in financial services industry
- Experience in Alternative Investments (Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Real Estate)
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- CFA Charter holders welcome
