Product Manager Innovation Projects Lead

As a key member of the Veridos Innovations Team, you will be responsible for driving innovation projects from ideation to execution, leveraging your expertise in project management and innovation strategy. Your primary focus will be on managing innovation projects, including market research, business model and business case design, and internal steering of innovation projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate work packages in publicly funded innovation projects related to the design and construction of demonstrators for faster person identification at border control using biometric technologies.
  • Research, explore, and evaluate relevant technologies in domains like digital identity, smartphones, and mobile applications, imaging technologies, and create and develop innovation projects based on these.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technology trends and support technology scouting and road-mapping processes at Veridos.
  • Participate in group-wide communities on relevant technology topics and write articles and white papers on selected topics.

Requirements:

  • University degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager or innovation manager.
  • Good general understanding of technical concepts, a good understanding of software and software development, and a basic understanding of hardware development (e.g., 3D printing, mechanical engineering).
  • Experience in managing projects in a dynamic and innovative environment and ability to steer development teams (internal and external).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
