Strategic Cost Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Cost Analyst to join our team at E SE. As a key member of our Supply Chain Excellence division, you will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational support to our International Category Manager and Management team.

Your primary responsibility will be to leverage the power of cost intelligence & analytics to create valuable insights embedded into our Sourcing and decision-making processes. This will involve ensuring the growth of valuable data sources and external partner collaboration in cost engineering projects.

You will also be responsible for ensuring a close and effective interaction with our Category teams and Management to deliver valuable data products and secure the integration of cost analytics & data insights in decision-making processes.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building and strengthening business stakeholder relations, serving as the primary point of contact for data collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure growth of valuable data sources and external partner collaboration in cost engineering projects
  • Ensure a close and effective interaction with our Category teams and Management to deliver valuable data products
  • Build and strengthen business stakeholder relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data collaboration

Requirements:

  • Experienced understanding about data management, data validation, and the consolidation of key facts & figures
  • Experience in the management of analytical projects and methods of data analysis and/or cost planning
  • Strategic thinker with strong acumen to smart analytics and experience of developing and implementing effective solutions/concepts for out-of-the-box inquiries of data assessment
  • Fluent in English and German
