About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our team at Foodji marketplace GmbH. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust data architecture that meets the business needs of our food marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Warehouse Design: Design and implement a scalable and efficient data warehouse architecture that integrates diverse data sources.
  • ETL Process Development: Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
  • Data Quality and Accuracy: Ensure data quality and accuracy standards are met through testing and troubleshooting.
  • Data Modeling: Design data models and structures that accurately reflect business processes and support analytical requirements.
  • Database Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance through indexing and other techniques.
Requirements
  • University Degree: A degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Work Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in data integration, data modeling, and development of data architecture.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in analyzing database performance bottlenecks and optimizing SQL queries, joins, indexes, and data models. Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about working with data. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
