Job Opportunity at OHB

Intern/Working Student Mathematical Modeling

OHB is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern/working student to support our launch site team in the field of mathematical modeling.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a detailed mathematical multi-body model for our launch vehicle
  • Design and implement a coordinate system transformation algorithm
  • Develop computing modules linking to our simulation software
  • Perform statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master studies in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Mathematics, or related discipline
  • Strong foundation in statistics, analysis, model generation, and verification
  • Experience in working with Python, Matlab, Simulink
  • Proven experience using Matlab Toolboxes
  • Knowledge in state-space representation and high-fidelity statistics
  • Fluent English oral and written communication skills
  • Self-independent, hands-on mentality and a structured way of working
