We are currently seeking a Mathematical Modeling Intern/Working Student (m/f/d) for a temporary engagement of 12 months.

Our diverse and dynamic team is looking for an enthusiastic intern/working student (m/f/d) to assist our launch site team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, international environment that strives for excellence in aerospace engineering, we would love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain a comprehensive mathematical multi-body model for our launch vehicle.
  • Create a coordinate system transformation algorithm.
  • Design computing modules that integrate with our simulation software.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and Monte Carlo simulations.

Your Profile

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of statistics, analysis, model generation, and validation.
  • Proficiency in Python, Matlab, and Simulink.
  • Demonstrated experience with Matlab Toolboxes.
  • Understanding of state-space representation and high-fidelity statistics.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written (all daily operations are conducted in English).
  • Self-motivated, hands-on approach, and a methodical work style.
