Job Title: Officer - Credit Risk

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Officer - Credit Risk to join their Credit Risk and Governance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring a range of issuers and counterparties, advancing credit risk methodologies, and contributing to the development of credit risk reports for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the assessment of counterparties, including financial institutions, central clearing counterparties, sovereigns, and government-related entities.
  • Support the enhancement of credit risk measurement methodologies, including Credit Value-at-Risk and Expected Shortfall.
  • Develop climate risk scenarios related to sovereign exposures within the portfolio.
  • Monitor and assess the credit risk of a selection of issuers and counterparties.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit risk reports for risk committees on investment portfolios and counterparty exposures.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in finance, risk management, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in risk management, credit ratings, financial supervision, financial stability, or economic analysis.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages would be an asset.
