Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Assistant to join our Open Banking team in Aachen. As a key member of our team, you will support the development and maintenance of our software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of Java EE applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and secure.
  • Contribute to the ease of testing our applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Help improve our processes using new tools and technologies, streamlining our development workflow.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs that are used by our customers, ensuring they are well-documented and easy to use.

Requirements:

  • You are enrolled at a college/university, pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • You have first experiences with Java EE, REST web services, relational databases, GIT version control, and Maven build tool.
  • You are communicative, independent, and enjoy working on your own initiative, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
