Credit Risk Manager

Job Title: EMEA Credit Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Credit Manager to join our team at ADM. As a key member of our credit management team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk across our EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of new customers to ensure their creditworthiness
- Monitor and manage counterparty and country risk to minimize potential losses
- Review and update existing credit limits to ensure they are aligned with changing market conditions
- Collaborate with commercial managers to negotiate credit limit payment terms and communicate decisions in a timely manner
- Partner with the business to identify and mitigate credit risk
- Analyze customer information, balance sheets, and securities to inform credit decisions
- Document and maintain records of credit assessments and decisions in our GetPaid credit system
- Accountable for documentary business and follow-up on payment plans and bad debts
- Work closely with legal to resolve insolvency cases
- Ensure compliance with reporting obligations
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external partners on credit-related matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration
- 3-5 years of experience in a credit management role, preferably in an international company
- Fluent command of written and spoken English and good German language skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
