**Job Summary**

Chery Europe GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Raunheim, near Frankfurt. As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Charging and Charging Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the interoperability of Chery vehicles with the European charging infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement requirements to fulfill EU specific customer and legal charging needs
  • Perform feasibility check evaluations of advanced charging technologies
  • Validate vehicle charging performance for AC and DC systems
  • Plan and organize measuring equipment for BEV and (P)HEV vehicles
  • Develop and implement home charging solutions for Chery Europe in all relevant markets
  • Develop and implement public charging solutions for Chery Europe in all relevant markets
  • Support rollout and secure performance of the home and public charging solutions in all countries
  • Combine home charging and public charging to one Chery Europe Charge solution
  • Monitor new charging functions (V2G, PnC, etc.)
  • Manage coordination and negotiation of further enhancement plans with Markets and 3rd party charging suppliers
  • Collaborate with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or comparable
  • Significant (>5 years) experience in high voltage EV charging development, professional product management, software or hardware management or a comparable qualification
  • Proven track record in technical consumer, charging or energy products
  • Knowledge in the conception and implementation of frameworks and reusable components
  • Experience in HV systems and CAN monitoring / simulation
  • Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
  • Valid European driving license
  • International and intercultural work experience
  • Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
  • Good communication and computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • Fluent in English
  • Mandarin skills advantageous
