About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Agent Team Lead to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of travel agents, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and meet the high standards of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of travel agents, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team, ensuring they are equipped to handle complex customer queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address any issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as product management and sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that the team is aware of any changes or updates that may impact our business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience of using CRM systems and other software applications.
  • Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
