Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to join our team at Gilbane, a leading construction management firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and motivation to the project team, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Manage projects using established project controls and procedures.
  • Perform constructability and coordination reviews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, and subcontractors on project risk, timetables, costs, and change management.
  • Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost control, ensuring projects meet client expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve project outcomes, including contingency planning for potential risks.
  • Prepare regular reports, including cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow metrics, for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger.
  • Prior US Government/military project experience is preferred.
  • Fully adjudicated Secret security clearance.
