Job Title: Project Manager II

Gilbane is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to support our upcoming project in Wiesbaden, Germany.

About the Role

This is a key position on our project team, responsible for overseeing the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of the project. The successful candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the project team
  • Manage the project using established project controls and procedures
  • Perform constructability and coordination reviews
  • Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors on project risk, timetables, costs, and change management
  • Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost control
  • Buy-out of job by determining the subcontracting strategy and preparing front-end documents and bid processes
  • Prepare monthly reports on cost, schedule, safety, cash flow, and other key metrics
  • Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality
  • Prepare contingency plans for potential risks and expanding contractual services
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 5-10 years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger
  • Prior US Government/military project experience is preferred
  • Must have a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
