Your Role:

As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll drive sales within the mid-market, targeting companies with 350 employees or below. You'll be responsible for approaching aligned companies in your region, acquiring new prospects, and driving our business offerings through solution-based selling.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Target net new accounts up to 350 employees.
  • Generate a strong pipeline to ensure extensive coverage, resulting in consistent quota achievement.
  • Create excellent internal relationships.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, including pipeline generation and presenting to C-level executives the value of Talkdesk's solution.
  • Streamline contracts, with strong proposal, terms, and negotiation experience.
  • Align with our sales Go-to-Market plan, developing and owning accountability for your region's targeted prospects.
  • Build partner, channel, and alliance relationships to sell more successfully and overachieve your quota.
  • Be a Talkdesk Evangelist.
  • Work with internal resources to own and grow your new business pipeline.
  • Upsell new products to our active customer base.

What We're Looking For:

  • Individuals who enjoy the challenge of Net New Logos.
  • Recent success selling software into SMB and Commercial accounts.
  • Excellent pipeline generation skills, learned from a previous BDR/SDR position.
  • Experience closing 5-figure multi-year contracts.
  • Experience selling to C-suite, senior management, and director-level individuals.
  • Champion builders and trusted advisors.
  • Ability to command attention in a room with compelling presentations.
  • An enthusiastic learner.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-environment work, with extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment.
