Electrical Engineering Project Lead
At Leap29, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for managing large-scale industrial plant engineering projects within the field of electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate both basic and detailed engineering tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Lead and coordinate project-related teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and installation companies to ensure alignment and integration.
- Assist with scheduling, workload planning, budget tracking, and cost calculations to ensure project efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration.
- Engineer equipment for substations, including switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
- Design electric drive systems, including motors and converters, and support grid and load calculations.
- Design and plan cable systems, lighting, communication systems, and earthing.
- Create and evaluate technical requests.
- Support specialist construction management during execution, assembly, and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent certification.
- Professional experience in industrial and plant planning.
- Proactive and communicative, with experience in leading small teams and managing multidisciplinary projects.
- Knowledgeable in document management and occupational health and safety.
- Familiar with explosion protection and plant safety.
- Experienced with CAE systems and engineering databases.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite.
