Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Native Engineer to join our Built-in Support Engineering team, responsible for developing cutting-edge features for our state-of-the-art cloud application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native features, ensuring top-notch code quality and security.
  • Write clean, high-quality code, applying secure development best practices and methodologies.
  • Stay at the forefront of technology, learning new things every day and using the latest cloud-native open-source tools and technologies.
  • Partner with our team, working with various stakeholders, customers, and product managers across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, with familiarity in TypeScript considered advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS and/or React development, showcasing the ability to build dynamic and responsive applications.
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in working with cloud-native infrastructure technologies, such as Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh, and Helm.
  • Basic knowledge in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, including tools like Argo CD.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in team environments, contributing positively to shared goals and fostering a culture of cooperation and innovation.
  • Passion for exploration and continuous learning, displaying enthusiasm for discovering novel concepts and technologies within the realm of cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, CI/CD, and DevOps.
