Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Built-in Support Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge features for our state-of-the-art cloud application. You will work closely with our open-minded team, collaborating with various stakeholders, customers, and product managers across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native applications using NodeJS and React.
  • Write clean, high-quality code ensuring top-notch code quality and security.
  • Apply secure development best practices and methodologies throughout the development and deployment processes.
  • Stay at the forefront of technology by learning new things every day and using the latest cloud-native open-source tools and technologies.
  • Partner with our team to deliver a world-class in-product support experience.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of JavaScript, with familiarity in TypeScript considered advantageous for enhancing code quality and maintainability.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS and/or React development, showcasing the ability to build dynamic and responsive applications.
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in working with cloud-native infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh, and Helm.
  • Basic knowledge in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, including tools like Argo CD.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in team environments.
