We are seeking a highly skilled Product Cost Analyst (Mechanical) to join our Design to Cost team in Hennigsdorf, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in reducing the carbon footprint of Europe's busiest public transit system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Challenge costs and improve environmental impact with a 'just enough' design approach
- Estimate the cost of various components and systems of a train
- Generate ideas for design improvement
- Participate in creating target costs for tenders and projects
- Promote cost awareness in the Design Engineering team
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of industrial processes
- Fluent in English, optional German skills
- Good entrepreneurship and persistence
- Very good agility and collaborative spirit
- Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous
