About the Role

The Gateway Related Projects team at payabl. is seeking a skilled Python Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing payment solutions that guarantee stable and consistent payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team lead to identify key architecture drivers and non-functional requirements for a core customer-facing product.
  • Match suitable frameworks and tools for the designed architecture.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering culture and participate in code reviews.
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience developing high-load scalable applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Django, FastAPI, and designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • Experience with technologies such as Git, Debian, Docker, MariaDB, MongoDB, and Apache Druid.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A customer-centric mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
