Banking Sector Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at VR Smart Guide GmbH. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for securing partnerships with key banks and expanding our presence in the banking sector.
Responsibilities- Identify key contacts at banks and build strategic relationships to close new deals.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to understand bank needs and tailor our platform and products to meet their specific requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at banks, including product managers and executives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless alignment on product updates, customer feedback, and sales progress.
- Actively participate in networking events and industry meetups to build valuable connections.
- Provide regular updates and accurate forecasts to keep the leadership team informed about the pipeline and ongoing sales activities.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the banking sector or financial services industry.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of the structures and processes within the banking industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to support clients on-site and build new relationships.
- Educational budget of up to 1.500 Euros per year to enhance your professional knowledge and skills.
- A hybrid work environment with locations in Eschborn and Berlin.
