**Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for improving our SDLC for the online environment and assessing emerging technologies for potential impacts, threats, and opportunities. You will also consult on secure software development and architecture, contribute to the safeguarding of our online marketplace's security, and collaborate with the Tech & Product department to simplify security implementation.

**Responsibilities:

  • Improvement of our SDLC for the online environment and assessment of emerging technologies for potential impacts, threats, and opportunities.
  • Consultation on secure software development and architecture.
  • Contribution to the safeguarding of our online marketplace's security.
  • Closure of vulnerabilities in our systems.
  • Shift left and integration of security seamlessly into our cloud infrastructure ensuring that security considerations are incorporated early in the development process.
  • Proactive identification, assessment, and prioritization of vulnerabilities across our systems and applications, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely mitigation and remediation.
  • Innovation and proposal of new security solutions.
  • Support of day-to-day security operations as part of our Hero-of-the-Day initiative.

**Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in an agile team and willing to take ownership.
  • Enthusiasm about diving deep into technical issues.
  • Sound knowledge of OWASP or other frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in Secure Software Development, application security, and/or public cloud security.
  • Embracing of our fail-forward-culture by giving and receiving constructive feedback in a professional manner.
  • Capability of explaining complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape and readiness to address emerging threats and technologies.
