Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Kaufland e-commerce. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our online marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improving our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the online environment and assessing emerging technologies for potential impacts, threats, and opportunities.
- Contributing to the safeguarding of our online marketplace's security.
- Closely collaborating with the Tech & Product department to simplify security implementation.
- Managing vulnerabilities in our systems.
- Integrating security seamlessly into our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that security considerations are incorporated early in the development process.
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and prioritizing vulnerabilities across our systems and applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely mitigation and remediation.
- Innovating and proposing new security solutions.
- Supporting day-to-day security operations as part of our Hero-of-the-Day initiative.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Comfortable working in an agile team and willing to take ownership.
- Enthusiasm about diving deep into technical issues.
- Sound knowledge of OWASP or other frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Secure Software Development, application security, and/or public cloud security.
- The ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability to the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape and a willingness to address emerging threats and technologies.
