Vinted Go is a product development initiative focused on developing seamless shipping and delivery solutions across Europe. We've connected over 40 carriers and more than 40,000 PUDO points across Europe to support the delivery of millions of parcels per year.

About the Position

You'll be working within the Privacy Engineering team, a passionate and growing part of the Security and Privacy function. In this team, we combine ethics, legal requirements, and technology to continuously improve people's privacy protection.

We need your help to design, develop, and implement tools and interfaces that allow us to protect the privacy of our members and employees. You'll work closely with our Marketplace and Data Infrastructure teams to help them build privacy into our Marketplace features and Data Analytics platforms, as well as with the Security and Privacy teams to give them the tools they need to be effective.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the development of privacy features, tooling, integrations, monitoring, and maintaining technical compliance with regulations for privacy.
  • Collaborate with Engineers across the organization to support the implementation of Privacy by Design within Vinted.
  • Communicate industry best practices and trends as well as Privacy Engineering initiatives to your Vinted colleagues.

Your Profile

  • You have a passion for privacy and are excited to talk about it.
  • You have good analytical skills, including the ability to assess risks and impacts to individuals from a privacy and data protection perspective.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and the ability to distill complex concepts into understandable models for others.
  • You have experience with Ruby and Rails and/or Go or a willingness to learn.

Individual Learning Budget

Vinted will set aside a yearly sum equal to 10% of your annual salary to be invested in your continuous professional development. You'll be able to take the initiative to use it for covering relevant learning activities that benefit your role.

Hybrid Work

We've adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in the office are recommended but not enforced. It's up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you'll spend working together in person.
