About the Position
You'll be working within the Privacy Engineering team, a passionate and growing part of the Security and Privacy function. We're excited to combine ethics, legal requirements, and technology to continuously improve people's privacy protection. Your role will be to design, develop, and implement tools and interfaces that protect the privacy of our members and employees, working closely with our Marketplace and Data Infrastructure teams to build privacy into our features and platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the development of privacy features, tooling, integrations, monitoring, and maintaining technical compliance with regulations for privacy.
- Collaborate with Engineers across the organization to support the implementation of Privacy by Design within Vinted.
- Communicate industry best practices and trends as well as Privacy Engineering initiatives to your Vinted colleagues.
Your Qualifications
- A passion for privacy and the ability to discuss it effectively.
- Good analytical skills, including the ability to assess risks and impacts to individuals from a privacy and data protection perspective.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to distill complex concepts into understandable models for others.
- Experience with Ruby and Rails and/or Go or a willingness to learn.

Working at Vinted
Individual Learning Budget
Vinted will set aside a yearly sum equal to 10% of your annual salary to be invested in your continuous professional development. You'll be able to take the initiative to use it for covering relevant learning activities that benefit your role.
Hybrid Work
We've adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in the office are recommended but not enforced. It's up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you'll spend working together in person.
