Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Medical Affairs to lead our DACH Medical Affairs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the medical strategy and tactics for the DACH region, serving as a primary medical voice of the company, and facilitating the promotion of emerging clinical trial data and strategic publications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the DACH Medical Affairs team and define the medical strategy and tactics for the DACH region.
- Serve as a primary medical voice of the company both internally and externally through networking and presenting at conferences.
- Facilitate and play a leadership role in the promotion of emerging clinical trial data, strategic publications, and health outcome research with key opinion leaders and other relevant parties.
- Establish and nurture key relationships throughout the diabetes ecosystem.
- Provide medical and educational leadership and support to the DACH teams, including marketing, market access, training, sales, and technical support.
- Leverage clinical expertise to provide strategic and operational support to our Product and Engineering teams.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, including leading people managers.
- Experience in developing and running commercial advisory boards with key opinion leaders.
- Thorough understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by people with diabetes today.
- Strong group presentation skills to both clinicians and people with diabetes.
- Experience directly related to the use of diabetes technology, including CGM and its use with adults, pediatrics, and clinicians.
- Strong people leadership skills with a proven track record in talent development.
