We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Affairs to lead our Medical Affairs team in the DACH region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the medical strategy and tactics for the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the DACH Medical Affairs team and develop a comprehensive medical strategy to support the growth of our business in the region.
- Serve as a primary medical voice of the company, providing expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the diabetes ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement medical education programs, clinical trials, and other initiatives to support the growth of our business.
- Provide medical and educational leadership to the DACH teams, including Marketing, Market Access, Training, Sales, and Technical Support.
- Leverage your clinical expertise to provide strategic and operational support to our Product and Engineering teams to ensure our offerings meet the needs of our customers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical affairs role, with a strong background in diabetes and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing and executing successful medical strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by people with diabetes and the role of CGM in diabetes management.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
