Field Service Engineer

Nikon Precision Europe GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of NSR equipment at customer sites. Your expertise will be essential in providing on-site and remote support to customers, as well as delivering service training to new hires.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and provide on-site and on-call service to customers as per service agreements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logs, service records, part usage documentation, and diagnostic updates.
• Submit written service reports on all maintenance activities.
• Install or relocate customer equipment and perform associated start-up and check-out procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.

Requirements:
• Good education in Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge/experience in Optics and Pneumatics is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Photolithography and Semiconductor processing is an advantage.
• Practical hands-on ability.
• Good level of English (spoken & written). German is a benefit, though not required.
• Proficiency with business software (MS Office).
