About the Position

The Université du Luxembourg is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join its Secure Research and Innovation Centre (SnT) in the field of 6G Communications Networks. As a Research Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge research projects in the area of 6G networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in emerging topics and novel challenges in 6G Communications Networks
  • Define research topics and carry out research in the defined areas
  • Disseminate results through scientific publications in top-tier venues
  • Coordinate research projects and prepare project deliverables
  • Prepare new research proposals to attract industrial, national, and European projects
  • Provide assistance in the supervision of PhD students

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, R, or C++
  • Proven track-record in wireless communications technologies, signal processing for communications, ML/AI for communications, UAVs, MTC/IoT, Terahertz communications, and Quantum communications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
