Job Summary

We are looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Specialist to support our company-wide infrastructure concept. The successful candidate will be responsible for the active support of suppliers and service providers, further elaboration and development of the infrastructure concept, and acting as a contact person in case of problems and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active support of suppliers and service providers within your area of responsibility
  • Further elaboration and development of the company-wide infrastructure concept in line with the system inventory and budget requirements
  • Acting as a contact person in case of problems and malfunctions
  • Responsibility for our current hardware farm and assistance in moving it to the cloud in the medium term
  • Proactive participation in improvements and new technologies

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an IT specialist or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience
  • Good to very good knowledge of the current Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2016, the current M365 components, and their use in the operational environment, as well as of network technologies (ideally CISCO-based infrastructures)
  • Good knowledge of various network management and monitoring tools (LANSweeper, i-do-it) as well as Azure products and their deployment scenarios. Good knowledge of the Linux environment is an advantage
  • Good command of English for smooth communication with our worldwide locations
