Design for Test Expert

Are you a skilled engineer looking to bring your expertise in Design for Test to a leading semiconductor company? As a Design for Test Expert at Infineon, you will join a cross-functional team and work on implementing DFT concepts and IPs to maximize test coverage while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement DFT and BIST concepts, as well as IPs to maximize test coverage while minimizing costs
  • Execute scan insertion and ATPG
  • Perform test coverage analysis and improvement
  • Verify and support deliveries in post-silicon
  • Collaboratively create DFT methodology innovations and enhancements for Infineon
  • Work in close cooperation with chip design and semiconductor manufacturing teams
  • Provide technical guidance to other DFT engineers, concept engineers, digital designers, physical implementation, and functional verification teams
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Microelectronic, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar qualification
  • At least 5 years of work experience in Design for Test; ideally also in microcontroller architectures and semiconductor technologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital Design for Test (ATPG, test coverage analysis, digital verification, scan diagnosis, as a plus MBIST or LBIST)
  • Open-minded mentality to work with different departments and sites
  • Good communication and presentation skills in a cross-functional environment in English
