Director of Global Supply Chain Optimization

Job Description

This is a global role focusing on the utilization, optimization, and harmonization of end-to-end supply chain processes.

Our client, a prominent entity in the delivery of therapeutic solutions, is dedicated to enhancing lives through innovative medical advancements. They adopt a comprehensive approach that includes research and development, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and verify supply chain feasibility assessments in line with company best practices
  • Validate the robustness of supply chain operations for new portfolio, product, and company acquisitions in line with company best practices
  • Evaluate end-to-end supply chain cost effectiveness and conduct dynamic risk assessments within the supply chain network
  • Manage end-to-end processes for new deals that support supply chain value creation
  • Utilize Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence to assess costs and drive network improvements
  • Build and lead a high-performing team
  • Lead existing teams to support supply chain integration and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Business with a major in Supply Chain/Operations
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably with transformation experience
  • Ability to independently analyze and make decisive decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including SAP, APO, and SNP, and Demand Planning modules
