Dispatch & Logistics Team Lead

NIDEC MOTORS & ACTUATORS (GERMANY) GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dispatch & Logistics Team Lead to join our dynamic team at our European headquarters.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating the dispatching of parts to both suppliers and customers, optimizing internal logistics processes, and guaranteeing timely and accurate deliveries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders involved in interfaces and processes.
  • Ensure a consistent supply of materials by accurately and promptly dispatching parts for both supplier and customer shipments.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to enhance internal logistics procedures.
  • Guarantee seamless delivery experiences for our valued customers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide comprehensive reports and analyses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping operations.
  • Provide support with customs declarations and long-term supplier documentation.
  • Lead inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Develop demand forecasts and effectively address delivery challenges.
  • Manage the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, including surplus material utilization and product lifecycle management.

What We Seek:

  • A completed apprenticeship with additional qualifications or a successful degree in Business Administration.
  • Extensive experience in production control and logistics operations.
  • Prior experience leading small teams is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with ATLAS software is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A collaborative team player with a self-directed, structured work approach and a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, and initiative.
