At Tiffany & Co., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Responsibilities:- Process and verify invoices in accordance with internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, and execute bank transfers in a timely manner.
- Verify, code, and post all overhead invoices in Esker and JDE, liaising with the accounting team on posting.
- Assist the accounting team in day-to-day operations, including substitution and support as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts, clarify differences, and ensure accuracy.
- Post and reconcile CAPEX invoices, freight, and duty invoices in coordination with the accounting team.
- Post employee expenses and reconcile vendor statements.
- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Reliable, careful, and independent work style, with resilience and flexibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
- Fluency in German and good English skills.
