About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform Engineering team at Amadeus. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our cloud-based platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a medium-sized, cross-functional team of software developers, network engineers, and quality assurance specialists to design, build, and operate our cloud-based platform.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance our platform and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Ensure high technical standards in the design, implementation, and operation of solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages (C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading technically a project, cross-functional team or group, being accountable for planning, executing, and supervising the execution, direct reports development, performance discussions and disciplinary management in a large international environment.
  • Deep knowledge on lean mindset and practices applied to software engineering.
  • Excellent English language skills.
