About the Role
As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a sales team to achieve established sales targets through strategic planning and execution. You will develop and implement business strategies for existing and potential accounts, manage day-to-day sales activities, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives
- Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel and relevant functions
- Identify opportunities for business growth and develop new programs to meet sales plans
- Assess and implement new selling programs and processes
- Coach sales representatives on sales techniques, procedures, and standards
- Take responsibility for business reviews and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience or university degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and management experience
- Very good German and very good written and spoken English skills
- Structured working style and experience in project management
- Absolute goal orientation, high level of commitment, and solution orientation
- Strong ability to promote, develop, and motivate employees
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and openness to change
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Very good MS Office and IT skills
- High willingness to travel
- Used to matrix structures in a corporate group
