Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving business growth? Medtronic is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to join our team in Peripheral Vascular Health.

About the Role

As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a sales team to achieve established sales targets through strategic planning and execution. You will develop and implement business strategies for existing and potential accounts, manage day-to-day sales activities, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel and relevant functions
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and develop new programs to meet sales plans
  • Assess and implement new selling programs and processes
  • Coach sales representatives on sales techniques, procedures, and standards
  • Take responsibility for business reviews and forecasting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience or university degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and management experience
  • Very good German and very good written and spoken English skills
  • Structured working style and experience in project management
  • Absolute goal orientation, high level of commitment, and solution orientation
  • Strong ability to promote, develop, and motivate employees
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and openness to change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Very good MS Office and IT skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Used to matrix structures in a corporate group
