Senior Battery Management Systems Test Engineer

As a Senior Battery Management Systems Test Engineer at Bertrandt, you will be responsible for the testing and optimization of batteries and battery management systems (BMS) for electric drives. Your tasks will include the development of test cases from requirements, creating automated test cases, and setting up and carrying out Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) tests. You will also be responsible for creating Restbus-Simulation with CANoe and analyzing and validating test results. Additionally, you will document test results and collaborate with software developers and technical departments.

Requirements
  • Completed technical studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in test automation and HiL tests.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in battery management systems (BMS).
  • Good practice in working with CANoe and dSPACE.
  • Experience in setting up HiL test benches.
  • Ideal knowledge of the Python programming language.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of German is a plus.
