Working Student: System Architecture and Simulation Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the simulation of a 3-phase hybrid inverter system using PLECS and MATLAB.
Key Responsibilities- System Modeling and Simulation: Develop and implement system models using PLECS and MATLAB to simulate the behavior of the 3-phase hybrid inverter system.
- System Understanding and Analysis: Investigate and understand the impact of different filter designs on the system behavior, conduct a THD study on different control algorithms and switching frequencies, and analyze the results to identify areas for improvement.
- Simulation Environment and Support: Collaborate with the system application teams to support the simulation activities and ensure the smooth operation of the simulation environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Create communication materials, process concepts, and prepare data visualizations to effectively communicate results and findings to the team.
- Teamwork and Analysis: Support the team with your analysis and results, which will trigger further system design activities and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Education and Skills: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, informatics, engineering, or a related field. Proficient in modeling product and system performance and behavior using MATLAB Simulink, PLECS, or similar tools. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with a good level of visualization skills.
