About the Job

We are a leading recruitment agency in Germany, specializing in direct placement of professionals in the mechanical and plant engineering sector. Our client company is a top player in the industry, and we are looking for a Project Manager to lead their investment projects and implement project management processes.

Your Tasks

  • Planning and implementation of investment projects
  • Implementation of and compliance with project management processes
  • Developing concepts, working out technical solutions and designing electronic systems
  • Preparation of inquiry and order specifications
  • Monitoring and checking the provision of external services in connection with necessary business trips
  • Project management and communication with project members, internal customers and external suppliers

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed engineering studies (Master/Bachelor) in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or measurement and control technology, alternatively a technician apprenticeship with relevant experience in large-scale plant construction and project management
  • Several years of professional and project experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the metallurgical, metal or chemical industry in plant construction
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and standards in Europe and Germany
  • Confident use of software tools (MS Office, MS Project) and good knowledge of project management (IPMA, PMA or similar)
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Analytical way of thinking, planning and organizational talent as well as communication skills
  • Assertiveness, confident demeanor and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work in a team, willingness to travel, commitment, resilience, motivation, intercultural competence and flexibility
  • Structured, committed, responsible and independent way of working
