The Opportunity

As a Business Systems Architect at CSL, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's digital transformation by leveraging your expertise in understanding business usage of information technology. Your focus will be on contributing to the development of enterprise application standards, strategies, and plans, as well as eliciting requirements and delivering solutions according to identified needs in collaboration with various partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and define requirements by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting and evaluating requirements with multiple stakeholders, and translating them into functional requirements for the target solution.
  • Lead a team using internal and external resources to deliver systems evaluations and solution design, and may mentor other Analysts or Developers.
  • Draft and design the target solution by identifying the design and architecting or coding the solution, preparing system design documentation, and providing direction to system programmers.
  • Implement the design by configuring and software development using internal and external resources, and may mentor other Analysts or Developers and perform peer reviews of design solutions or coding.
  • Test and validation by compiling validation planning, managing the implementation of defined measures, preparing test cases, and coordinating test reports in collaboration with other departments observing CSL defined quality and governance standards and procedures.
  • Training by preparing training materials and user manuals, designing and conducting user training sessions, and helping identify enterprise standard approaches to Training as applicable to the CSL framework.
  • Operations and Support by being accountable for the ongoing operation and maintenance of applications for the assigned IT areas, including the definition and monitoring of measures to ensure system availability.
  • Project Work by defining or leading a project team for complex, business-critical projects, performing matrix roles as assigned for local and global projects, and defining scope, plans, and managing projects involving the technical solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; educational concentration in a computer-based discipline or a technical discipline is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT working within an applicable function that directly aligns with the responsibilities for this position.
  • Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience is preferred.
  • Work with Microsoft Office products, such as Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Visio.
  • Knowledgeable working in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to develop others on business process, and knowledge across several departments.
  • Business Systems Analyst & Solution Architect related Functional/Technical Skills.
