**Job Summary:

Advantest Europe GmbH is seeking a skilled Senior SW Development Engineer to join our team in Duisburg. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art software for next-generation SoC test solutions.

**Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software for next-generation SoC test solutions with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate closely with other R&D teams, solution architects, and customer experts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

• Analyze complex problems to propose and implement innovative solutions to leading-edge technology challenges.

• Utilize state-of-the-art tools and development environments to design, develop, and test software solutions.

• Work independently as a self-reliant team member, contributing to the development of software modules and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.

**Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong programming skills in C++ and Java.

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• In-depth understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and methodologies, as well as proficiency in object-oriented software development methods and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively seek out new challenges and interact with various stakeholders.

• Experience in applying agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Test-Driven Development).

**Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in German is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of GIT, JIRA, and Eclipse.

• Good understanding of ICs/electronic measurement technology.

• Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages.

• Customer and/or cross-functional working experience.
