Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Advantest Europe GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, manual and automated test procedures to ensure the highest possible test coverage in our SW/HW-System Test.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, manual and automated test procedures to ensure highest possible test coverage.
  • Provide overview and in-depth test quality and coverage reports.
  • Drive resolution of problems related to test status and quality.
  • Install, configure, and maintain different test system HW, software, and tools for various test environments.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support the testing activities as part of agile development teams.
  • Be the advocate for all aspects of quality and test within the team.
  • Improve testing methods and support the continuous improvement process.
  • Continuously improve and deploy new tests to deliver high-quality products in cooperation with SW/HW R&D and SW Release Management.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3 years relevant industry experience in SW testing, semiconductor business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with C/C++ programming language and scripting skills.
  • In-depth knowledge with test and delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge in CI/CD and agile working methods.
  • Automation of Build and Test pipelines with Jenkins.
  • ISTQB certificate welcome.
  • Structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Profound communication skills to work in an international cross-functional team.
  • Good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken.
