Master Thesis Researcher

As a researcher at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, you will contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for a resource-efficient future. Our team is working on the performance of catalysts in an ohmic reactor, and we are seeking a highly motivated Master's thesis researcher to join our team.
Key responsibilities will include literature research on catalytic ammonia decomposition and alternative heating methods, synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts, and evaluation of conversion and selectivity data. You will also have the opportunity to work autonomously in the laboratory and pilot plant, and to interpret and present your results.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering, technical chemistry, or chemical engineering, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with larger test facilities and in the field of heterogeneous catalysis.
As a researcher at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, you will have the opportunity to combine your knowledge from your studies with practical experience at the interface between business and science. You will also have access to our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and will be supported in the preparation of your final thesis.
