Project Engineer in the Paper Industry

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Valmet GmbH. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete planning and calculation of projects, including the preparation of quotations.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and implement projects for our customers, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Develop and monitor project plans, including time and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct on-site project monitoring and installation supervision as required.
- Follow up on project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Completed technical engineering studies or technician/master craftsman training with several years of experience in paper production or mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in similar positions, preferably with product and industry knowledge.
- Ability to make decisions and demonstrate flexibility in thinking and acting.
- Fluent German and very good English language skills, with a strong team spirit and ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Confidence in using IT tools such as MS Office and Project.
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel.
