Job Description

The position of Senior Process Engineer is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and implement projects in the pharmaceutical industry. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expertise and guidance to colleagues and clients on complex matters. You will be responsible for the overall project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process teams in large projects across all project phases
  • Develop and implement process units and project responsibility
  • Act as a point of contact for clients on process-related matters
  • Develop concepts, technologies, and strategies
  • Collaborate closely with production personnel to collect data and define affected systems
  • Prepare and document mass and energy balances
  • Develop block flow diagrams (BFDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Prepare technical documentation for process equipment and qualification requirements
  • Prepare bid documents and technical comparisons of suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a process engineer and/or project leader
  • Excellent technical understanding and social skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of FDA/EMA standards and cGMP and their application in projects
  • Travel readiness to project sites in the DACH region
  • Proficiency in German (C2 level, including technical and industry-specific vocabulary) and English
