About the Job

The position as Senior Process Engineer is your opportunity to lead and implement projects in the pharmaceutical industry as a Process Engineering Specialist. You will provide expertise and experience to colleagues and customers alike in complex matters. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will bring a comprehensive understanding of project implementation and be able to accurately assess the impact and necessary input of your contribution. What You Can Expect:

  • Leadership responsibility for process teams in large projects throughout all project phases
  • Independent planning of process units and associated project responsibility
  • Customer contact person for process-related matters
  • Development of concepts, technologies, and strategies
  • Closely working with the customer's operational/production staff to collect data and define affected systems
  • Creation, documentation, and evaluation of mass and energy balances
  • Development of block flow diagrams (BFDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Creation of technical documentation for process equipment and qualification requirements
  • Creation of tender documents and technical comparison of suppliers

Location: Böblingen. Our office in Böblingen has recently moved to new premises and offers flexible options for commuting and catering due to its central location. Modern and high-quality workstations in an open-space concept complete our location.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • University degree in Chemistry or Biotechnology, Process Engineering, or equivalent
  • Project experience (+5 years) in the pharmaceutical industry as a process engineer and/or project leader and excellent technical understanding
  • Social competence, leadership talent, and team skills
  • Foundational knowledge of FDA/EMA standards and cGMP and their application in projects
  • Travel readiness to project locations in the DACH region
  • Language skills in German (C2, including industry-specific vocabulary) and English
