About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the hydropower sector. This role will involve designing hardware for control systems, including control cabinets and selecting system components. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating hardware planning with internal and external service providers, clarifying interfaces with customers, and creating circuit and terminal diagrams as well as wiring lists using CAD and CAE systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in electrical or automation engineering and several years of professional experience in electrical design. You should have good knowledge of relevant standards, such as VDE and DIN-EN, as well as electrical safety technology. Experience with Siemens and Rockwell control systems is also essential. Additionally, you should have comprehensive knowledge of common CAD/CAE systems, such as RUPLAN and EPLAN P8, and be proficient in MS-Office and SAP ERP applications.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
