About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our team at Dataport AöR. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our database and container systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain database systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Participate in container-based projects
  • Develop and improve existing infrastructure (containers, Linux servers)
  • Support the operation of middleware applications on Linux servers
  • Promote the development of applications in complex data center infrastructure
Requirements
  • Completed studies in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in the administration and operation of Linux systems
  • Advanced knowledge of database and SQL systems, particularly with Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Good knowledge of container operation and automation tools
  • Experience with agile working methods and structured work processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as customer-oriented and self-organized behavior
