IT Administrator for Databases and Containers

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to join our team at Dataport AöR, a leading state-owned IT company shaping the future of digital technology for public administration and society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain database systems, including PostgreSQL and Oracle, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Participate in container-based projects, leveraging expertise in container operations and automation tools.
  • Develop and enhance existing infrastructures for containers and Linux servers, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Provide technical support for middleware applications on Linux servers, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Contribute to advancing specialized applications in complex data center environments, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Background in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in Linux system administration.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or PostgreSQL databases, with experience in database management and optimization.
  • Knowledge of container operations and automation tools, with the ability to design and implement efficient container-based solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
