About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team at LOSCH Luxembourg. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and management of our IT operations and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for IT operations and applications management, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide teams responsible for IT operations and applications management, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- IT Operations Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Application Portfolio Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, from selection and implementation to optimization and retirement, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and partners, ensuring compliance with contracts, service levels, and performance standards.
- Project Management: Lead and prioritize IT projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
- Business Process Optimization: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for process improvement, and translate them into effective IT solutions.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies for IT operations and applications management.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities, through proactive measures and controls.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in IT operations and applications management, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of experience in IT management, with significant experience in operations and applications management.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex IT initiatives and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical expertise in infrastructure management, application development, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles, IT governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Fluent English and German language skills, with Luxembourgish and/or French being an asset.
