IT Director Operations and Applications Management

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our Operations and Applications Management team. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for IT Operations and Applications Management, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for IT Operations and Applications Management
• Lead and manage the Operations and Applications Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security
• Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, from selection and implementation to optimization and decommissioning, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices
• Manage relationships with external providers, service providers, and partners, ensuring compliance with contracts, service levels, and performance standards
• Lead and prioritize IT projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget
• Optimize business processes by working with stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate them into effective IT solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies for IT Operations and Applications Management
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities, through proactive measures and controls
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within IT Operations and Applications Management, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in IT management, with significant experience in Operations and Applications Management
• Confirmed experience in successfully leading and managing complex IT initiatives and teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical expertise in infrastructure management, application development, and project management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve common goals
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles, IT governance frameworks, and industry best practices
• Fluency in English and German, Luxembourgish and/or French is an asset
